Svitlana receives pets products assistance for her 13 cats and 14 dogs from the local NGO “Terytoria Dobra” (Territory of kindness), which takes care of homeless animals. In 2021, the international organization “Animal ID” counted 267 homeless dogs in the town. Nowadays, 144 volunteers of “Terytoria Dobra” daily feed 924 dogs and 1392 cats in Druzhkivka. The increase in the number of homeless animals was caused by the war, as many of the people who had to lave their home to seek safety, also had to leave their pets behind.
