In this Friday, February 2, 2018, photograph, two Yemeni soldiers allied to the country's internationally recognized government walk near the wreckage of destroyed military vehicles on the outskirts of Sanaa, Yemen. Yemen's conflict, which began as a civil war in 2014 and escalated into a regional proxy fight, drags on today. Winning the hardscrabble terrain takes time and costs dearly, only exacerbating the country's humanitarian crises and making a war that's seen over 10,000 people killed last that much longer. The USAF pilot shots an amazing selfie flying of his U-2 Dragon Lady plane. The scenes unfolded while he was flying over Canada in late February 2018, though, given his profession, the pilot couldn’t provide too specific locations or dates. The spy plane was travelling at around 500 mph at an altitude of around 70,000 feet (21,3 Km). (Photo by Extreme Ross Photography/Caters News Agency)
