This June 10, 1967 file photo shows jubilant Israeli troops in Sinai, Egypt, during the Six-Day War. In the 1967 Mideast war, when Israel seized the West Bank and Gaza Strip, 300,000 more Palestinians fled, mostly into Jordan. The refugees and their descendants now number nearly 6 million, most living in camps and communities in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. The diaspora has spread further, with many refugees building lives in Gulf Arab countries or the West. (Photo by AP Photo, File)

In this photo provided by Lee County Historical and Genealogical Society, people gather near the Truesdell Bridge in Dixon, Ill., following its collapse in 1873. It's been 150 years since the bridge collapsed, remaining the worst road-bridge disaster in American history. On May 4, 1873, a crowd of more than 200 gathered on the bridge to watch a baptism when it toppled over, trapping dozens of victims just inches below the river's surface. The disaster claimed 46 lives and injured dozens of others. (Photo by Charles Keyes/Lee County Historical and Genealogical Society via AP Photo)

The body of a Senegalese soldier, Dradaima Cisse, of the 67th Regiment, killed while fighting for the French, is pictured in Verdun, France, 1918 during the Great War. Some of the last survivors in France from a colonial-era infantry corps that recruited tens of thousands of African soldiers to fight in French wars around the world will be able to live out their final days with family members back in Africa after a French government U-turn on their pension rights.
