The college student said he felt it is his duty to help protect the nation's borders. “There's evil going on here”,he said. AZBR is made up mostly of former U.S. military servicemen, stages reconnaissance and surveillance operations against drug and human smugglers in remote border areas. The group claims up to 200 volunteers and does not consider itself a militia, but rather a group of citizens supplimenting U.S. Border Patrol efforts to control illegal border activity. With the election of Donald Trump as President, border security issues are a top national issue for the incoming Administration. (Photo by John Moore/Getty Images)

The world's pilot innovative “Easy Security” system for passengers consisting of two full-body scanners and two automated luggage-X-ray lanes are seen during live operations at Cologne-Bonn's Konrad Adenauer Airport in Cologne, Germany, November 17, 2016. The idea is to allow veteran flyers to navigate more quickly through the checks and go ahead of those who are slower and still must, for example, remember to take all the coins out of their pockets. When travelers first step up to the conveyor belt for hand luggage, there will be five trays already lined up in order, allowing five people at a time to start arranging their belongings for scanning. Whoever does not need help can simply go ahead and place their items in the trays, and then proceed directly to the body scanner. There is also a “sitting island” for those who must take time to remove their shoes. (Photo by Wolfgang Rattay/Reuters)

A woman is checked by a full-body scanner in the world's pilot innovative “Easy Security” system for passengers during live operations at Cologne-Bonn's Konrad Adenauer Airport in Cologne, Germany, November 17, 2016. The area in general provides more space for travelers than typically narrow security sections. “Easy Security” follows the principle that every air traveler can basically walk through the control process at their own tempo, without hindering other passengers, or being hindered themselves”, the airport wrote in a statement on Tuesday. “This makes security for all participants more clearly arranged and relaxed”. The body scanner stage is also faster, lasting less than one second, and it allows travelers to keep their hands at their sides instead of raising them above their heads. This file NOAA/NASA image released on April 22, 2016 shows planet Earth. While last month merely tied for the world’s third warmest October in history, 2016 is still on track to be the hottest year on record, federal meteorologists said Thursday. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced that the globe averaged 58.4 degrees (14.7 Celsius), which is 1.3 degrees (0.7 Celsius) warmer than the 20th-century average but not as warm as Octobers in 2015 and 2014. From May 2015 to August 2016, Earth set monthly heat records for 16 straight months. Scientists blame continued man-made climate change from the burning of fossil fuels, goosed by a now-gone El Nino. El Nino is the occasional natural warming of parts of the Pacific that changes weather worldwide. (Photo by AFP Photo/NOAA/NASA)
