The fresco allegedly shows late Yugoslav autocratic leader Josip Broz Tito drowning in red fiery waves of hell with Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, authors of the 1848 Communist Manifesto. They are in the company of Adam and Eve, together with some of Montenegro's current politicians and people wearing Muslim turbans. What appear to be rival church priests are being swallowed through a huge jaw of an angry gray beast with pointed devil ears. The fresco has triggered much attention and public controversy in this tiny former communist country. (Risto Bozovic/Associated Press)

A hot air balloon provides a view of the temples as it hovers over Bagan in Myanmar on February 4, 2014. Between the 11th and 13th centuries, Bagan in Mandalay province in Myanmar was the kingdom's capital, one of the most important centres for learning in Asia, if not the world. The kings and rulers built thousands of temples, more than 3,000 of which are still standing today. The city is one of the Myanmar's most treasured religious sites and attracts hundreds of visitors a day. But over the past 20 years, many of the temples have been renovated and now bear little resemblance to their original structures. (Photo by Ye Aung Thu/AFP Photo)

This NASA handout image released February 5, 2014 shows a dramatic, fresh impact crater, captured by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on November 19, 2013. The crater spans approximately 100 feet (30 meters) in diameter and is surrounded by a large, rayed blast zone. Because the terrain where the crater formed is dusty, the fresh crater appears blue in the enhanced color of the image, due to removal of the reddish dust in that area. Debris tossed outward during the formation of the crater is called ejecta. In examining ejecta's distribution, scientists can learn more about the impact event. The explosion that excavated this crater threw ejecta as far as 9.3 miles (15 kilometers). (Photo by AFP PhotoNASA/JPL-Caltech/Univ. of Arizona)
