A Look at Life in Bangladesh

Daring motorists entertain spectators by dangerously driving motorcycles on a vertical “wall of death” in Khulna, Bangladesh on January 30, 2024. Performers travel without protective gears at speeds of up to 80 km/h so that their vehicles can balance on the 25-foot-high wooden plank. Riders pull off death-defying stunts to wow bystanders in an attempt to make extra money as they ride vertically up the side of a wall. They perform to entertain those who have paid an entry fee of 20 pence for the entertainment. Up to 100 spectators can watch at a time offering up money to the riders so they can earn extra money from these tips. (Photo by Joy Saha/ZUMA Press Wire/Rex Features/Shutterstock)
