One day photographer Jimmy Hickey decided to do a photo project capturing “money problems personified”, so he withdraw everything from his bank account in one dollar bills and created a money suit. The resulting project is titled “What Have We Done?”.

An incredible view of daytime lightning on Saturn during one of the biggest storms the ringed planet has ever seen has been captured by a NASA spacecraft.

Berlin-based artist Sebastian Bieniek unfolds the story of a two-faced female in his series of photographs “doublefaced”. Using an eye pencil and lipstick, bieniek simply draws an image of a face onto the side of skin. The sketch includes only one eye: carefully placed hair hides the rest of the face from view, revealing one, moving eye of the model. Blue, brown, awake, and sleeping variations create portraits with unique expressions and an illustrative sensibility. The 22 photographs of the hybrid girl expose her daily routine – drinking coffee, traveling on the train, taking a shower, and smoking cigarettes – capturing the daily life of a female with two faces.

A group of daredevil divers get perilously close to a school of deadly sharks – and one even lies on his back with his arm folded. The relaxed diver swims on his back and almost hugs the shark who is floating directly above him. The photography duo of Floto+Warner created the series, “Colorant”, from an idea that stemmed out of a previous series and the fascination of landscapes, with results that leave one in awe. Creating shapes, not experienced in nature, they tossed colored water in the air to capture “a momentary graffiti of air and space”.
