The minds of children are a wondrous thing… I think. I don’t quite remember how it was my mind worked as a child, but it’d better have been wondrous because otherwise I have no explanation for how absolutely insane children act. Either way, Pierrette Diaz did a fantastic job of bringing the world of little kids to adults in an interesting series of paintings that depict the world through a child’s eyes.

By making use of digital colour grading and composites, Romanian photographer Caras Ionut created these dreamy blue-themed landscapes. The work is even more impressive when you consider that Caras, who has been a mariner for the last 24 years, only picked up an interest in photography a few years ago. Robbie Cooper is a British artist working in photography, video and 3D. In 2008 he began his project ‘Immersion’ in which he filmed people’s faces as they watched TV, played video games and using the internet. His images have been of interest to me because they link to how playing video games affects your behaviour out of the game. I think that there is a definite link between gaming and behaviour. I think violent games such as Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty do affect behaviour and can be linked to criminality.
