A giant hedgehog statue is spotted in London's Clapham Common after a survey reveals many Brits have never seen one in the wild. Naturalist Sir David Attenborough hopes to educate the masses about such creatures on his new show.

Keen snapper CJ Kale, more used to sun, sea and sand while at work than snow, captured the incredible moment while on a trip to Alaska. A dog sanctuary in Mexico is the first of its kind as it provides troubled canines with a safe and loving home. Milagros Caninos (Miracle Dogs) is a sanctuary in Mexico City that takes in abused, elderly, terminally ill, and disabled dogs.
