If you love someone very much, you care very little about their looks. The beauty of their soul is the thing that matters the most, changing your perception of them for the better. Monty the Cat is a vivid example of this fact. He was taken by his new owners from an animal shelter at the age of three, and became a proud member of their family. Due to a genetic anomaly Monty doesn’t have a nasal bridge, making his appearance rather unique. However, this peculiarity is what makes Monty special, and his new owners love him for it. Though he doesn’t realize that he’s any different from other cats, Monty knows that his owners love him very much.

The illustrations created by Joao Carvalho are not just simple 3D drawings. By making it look as if various characters were drawn on regular note book paper, Joao fools our minds into thinking that the flat objects we see on the picture are actually 3-dimentional. To create these pieces of art, Joao first draws the lines of the “notebook” paper already bent, as if they stretch over the object that is about to be drawn. Dalsnibba is a mountain in Stranda Municipality in More og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located at the end of the Geiranger valley, about 21 kilometres (13 mi) south of the village of Geiranger and the Geirangerfjorden. The 2-square-kilometre (0.77 sq mi) lake Djupvatnet lies directly to the southeast of the mountain. The mountain is located very near the county border with both Oppland and Sogn og Fjordane counties, in the southeastern part of Møre og Romsdal county.

HalfPics is a Twitter feed pointing to things cut in half like a bowl of ramen, a Mini Cooper, and toothpaste. Their tagline: “Ever wonder what stuff looks like when it’s cut in half?” Yes.
