Giraffe Manor is a delightful family lodge situated outside of Nairobi. The manor is known for its Rothschild's giraffes, which often stick their heads through the windows of the lodge to greet you. Each of the six luxury rooms offer en suite facilities, and sumptuous surroundings. Guests enjoy evening cocktails in front of the fireplace before a delicious gourmet dinner.
The above portrait is part of London-based photographer Roman Sakovich's project, “Half”, which highlights the drastic physical effects of substance abuse. Sakovich has created split images that simultaneously portray an individual prior to and post addiction, leaving the viewer with a stark visualization of the damaging effects of drug use on our bodies.

Though it is often said that the human eye can be revealing about a person, Jakarta-based Indonesian artist Veri Apriyatno's series titled The Witnesses reveals a lot more about a person's surroundings through the reflection of their eyes. Each hyperrealistic mixed media creation in the series (made with charcoal, pencil, and acrylics on canvas) presents an entire world within the gaze of a glistening eye.
