At two years old, they are fully grown and weigh between 40-65 pounds and are around knee height at 12-16 inches tall. The long and intriguing story of the origine of the indigenous Maori people can be traced back to the 13th century, the mythical homeland Hawaiki, Eastern Polynesia.
