The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel is not an adventure for the light hearted. The trippy visuals and sound effects are rather bizarre and creepy. They look like something out of a nightmare or a psychedelic trip. Maybe the creators of this project did experiment with some illicit drugs to gain inspiration for this project. Moreover, it is more likely than not that some people tried going to this tourist attraction after “preparing” themselves beforehand. This trippy tunnel stretches from Pudong to Puxi in Shanghai, China, and is rated as one of the top five tourist attractions. We recommend visiting this place; just don’t take your kids along for the ride, since it might prove to be too scary for them.

In the past people used to bury their loved ones or turn them into ashes. However, now there is a completely new possibility. Since having an urn with ashes in your house may be a bit weird, you may want to choose the option of turning your deceased relative into a diamond. Yes, diamond! You’ve heard us correctly. By using immense heat and pressure, the ashes you get after cremating a person can be turned into a real diamond. After this, the diamond can be left as it is, and stored in a jewelry box, or it can be used as a piece of jewelry, such as a ring or a pendant, allowing you to always keep your loved one close to your heart. French artist, Emeric Chantier, created these magnificent skull-infused plant sculpture. I say infused because I can’t think of another way to describe this unusual piece of art. Emeric is part of the Macadam Gallery and also created other pieces of art in a similar style which contains guns, hearts, hands and cars.

“Pink Portrait” series by Scott Scheidly makes a slightly different and more literal use of the glamorization; by making the subjects glamorous. Napoleon stuns with a flower crest and pink shoulder tassels, Stalin earns medals of heart and butterfly, rocks a tiny pink earring, and a uniform Elle Woods would be proud of, while Clint Eastwood gets ready to face off in a gorgeous lavender shawl. These guys may be tough, but they all look pretty in pink.

German photographer Tanja Brandt has created a series which captures the absolutely heart-breaking friendship between Ingo, her two-year-old German Shepherd, and a tiny owl called Napoleon. "Ingo is not always the calmest dog, however when he is around the birds, and particularly Napoleon, he is very soft and gentle", said the photographer. "He seems very at peace with them".

Artist Kate Jenkins makes elaborate crocheted food art in her studio in Brighton. Much of her art depicts the local fare – fish and chips, bangers and mash, and so on – but a recent series, “Kate’s Diner”, focused on classic American food.
