The blog Terrible TV Art is dedicating to Photoshopping the faces of TV and movie characters to cartoonish proportions.

French Levalet is back in the streets of Paris with this new piece entitled ‘Le marchand de sable’/’The Sandman’, a rather literal interpretation of the mythical character in central and northern European folklore who brings good dreams by sprinkling magical sand onto the eyes of children while they sleep at night. Funny and smart as usual.

Professional Swedish photographer Erik Johansson ,currently lives and work in Berlin, creates unusual and interesting pictures, a genre which is difficult to define. Some of them are more like the work of the surrealists, some show the illusion of visual perception, and others – just funny. The author himself said that he does not captured the reality but captured your ideas on the reality.

Praia du Forte, Bahia. “This was the lead picture for a National Geographic story on Bahia, because it was both mysterious as well as a “geography” picture showing where the slaves arrived from Nigeria. Beach pictures seem like they should be easy to take, but for me they are actually quite difficult. Too easy to fall into cliche. From artist Alberto Varanda comes this adorable series of cute kids, as superheroes, in his series of artworks titled: “Little Heroes World”. Featuring characters from DC Comics and Marvel, such as Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Angel (from the X-Men), Gwen Stacy and Spiderman, and there’s even a Hellboy too this too looks like a swell guide to kiddie-cosplay for coming shows.
