Paula Duta is a Romanian illustrator who loves creating her artworks using pens, markers, and watercolors. This set of pictures shows the process through which she went to draw her most beloved creation – The Steampunk Lion. The picture came alive piece by piece, starting with the eyes, goggles, nose, and then the mane. Her other names: Naamah (Нахема; Na'amah (Hebrew: נעמה‎) – is a demonic legendary creature, the mother of divination), Amatue, Nagval and Goddess (бАгиня). She is fond of esoteric, believes that 2012 will be the end of the world, and waits for the planet Nibiru (I'm not kidding). This girl had amused the Russian-language Internet (because the Russians are cynical and heartless people). Ukranian artists Anya Stasenko and Slava Leontyev collaborate to create delightfully quirky and unbelievably detailed miniature porcelain sculptures. Their website offers different views of many of the pieces so that you can see the elaborate paintings on these tiny pieces. I couldn’t stop smiling, always a good sign.
