Oscar Ramos is a designer based out of Santiago, Chile with his main focus being Illustration/character design along with photo manipulations and digital arts. Today on The Design Chimp we are highlighting some of the amazing character and illustration designs by Oscar Ramos.

Marialuisa Tadeis sculpture is very large compared to a life size octopus. The sculptures are made of steel and concrete. They are then turned into a mosaic using hand cut glass. The texture is bumpy because of the mosaic but is smooth on the glass. The main idea behind the sculpture is to explore spiritual and symbolic representation.

Ja Kang Song, 71, and Ja Hyun Su, 72, dive for shellfish and are the main breadwinners for their families. In South Korea, 45% of the diving women of Jeju are over the age of 70.
