Gamble (July 12, 1890 – 1968) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to David Berry and Mary Huggins Gamble; grandson of James Gamble, who, with William Procter, founded Procter & Gamble in 1837. in 1912 he graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Literature degree and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He visited China for four extended periods, 1908, 1917–1919, 1924–27, and 1931–1932, doing Christian social work for the Y.M.C.A and conducting social surveys. Wolfgang Stiller’s Human Matchsticks

Perhaps providing social commentary on the way in which everyday life tends to burn people out over time, German artist Wolfgang Stiller has created “Matchstick Men.” Appearing on their own and in matchbox-like “coffins,” the collection was created in Stiller’s studio by combining various head molds and bamboo wood scraps that were left over from a film production in Beijing.

If Kim Kardashian was a feline shed be purr-fect for this new book which features a collection the worlds best cat “selfies”. The furry frames have been compiled by cat owner Charlie Ellis who has scoured the globe for the perfect puss pictures. In his book “Cat Selfies” moggies try their hand at the craze most of their humans have become addicted to posting on social media.  And it turns out cats might be better at taking photos than their owners with a variety of poses captioned in the book. (Photo by Charlie Ellis/Caters News)
