The Vatican has said that it hopes that Sri Lanka's Christians can play a role in helping heal the wounds of the island nation's bloody 25-year civil war, when the Tamil Tiger rebels fought to create a separate homeland in the north for the minority Tamils, who are mostly Hindu. The war came to a bloody end in 2009, but many Tamils say they feel forgotten by the central government, which is dominated by the country's ethnic Sinhala majority, which is overwhelmingly Buddhist. 18-year-old Stephanie Fernandez — a self-taught freelance makeup artist and photographer from Shreveport, Louisiana — has taken a series of photos that document her many creepy and colorful makeup transformations.

Snoopy the Cat (大肥猫宝儿) is one of the most popular cats in the world especially in China. She is an Exotic Shorthair cat with a lovely master that takes pictures of her everyday.

Boya Latumahina, alter ego, Zippora Lux is a Design student studying at Central St Martins in London. She has created these space age cats by combining two of her favourite things, cats and telescopic photographs.
