All throughout history of mankind people were fascinated by time, its flow, and how to measure it. Thus, the science of horology can into being, as people invented more and more sophisticated ways of measuring the passage of time. Truly, it’s one of the most profound characteristics of being a human, to feel and to ponder the meaning of time, its properties, and will we ever be able to move through it, not with it. “Pink Portrait” series by Scott Scheidly makes a slightly different and more literal use of the glamorization; by making the subjects glamorous. Napoleon stuns with a flower crest and pink shoulder tassels, Stalin earns medals of heart and butterfly, rocks a tiny pink earring, and a uniform Elle Woods would be proud of, while Clint Eastwood gets ready to face off in a gorgeous lavender shawl. These guys may be tough, but they all look pretty in pink.

Greece-based illustrator, Charis Tsevis took his fascination with our wired world to develop his series of colorful and detailed wire illustrations. He uses all types of wires, including USB cords and phone cables, and creates form figures, faces and animals by tangling them together.
