This print campaign for the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra uses macro photographs taken inside the cramped spaces of instruments making the inner workings of a violin, cello, flute, and pipe organ appear vast and spacious, almost as if you could walk around inside them. Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre might not be the most modest of names for a set of illustrations but it is doubtlessly fitting. Wilhelm Staehle clearly has a brilliant sense of humour, not only are the postcard illustrations very funny, but even his bio will make you chuckle.
