Like a scene from a fantasy movie, a dilapidated room that appears to have been literally ripped out of a building remains suspended in mid air above Nantes, France. Its walls were torn apart, revealing bricks below the plaster, and wood floors reveal the joists inside. The floating room is accessible via a ladder. The gravity defying surreal installation is the work of Argentinean artist Leandro Erlich. The large-scale piece, called “Monte-meubles – L’ultime déménagement” (literally - The Furniture Lift – The Ultimate Moving Out), was created for the biannual Le Voyage a Nantes, an art festival which turns the entire French city into an art gallery.

In order to get a glimpse into the visual culture of drug trade in New York City, a British photographer Graham MacIndoe collected more than one hundred bags, which were used to sell heroin. These bags feature references to various movies, fast-food restaurants, and luxury brands. This could be a way to mark various purities of heroin, or maybe different drug dealers use different markers to distinguish between each other. Skoda is celebrating the launch of the Octavia vRS, so company unveiled the ultimate baby buggy, dubbed the ‘vRS Mega Man-Pram’ – a high performance vehicle that has been designed to provide the ultimate baby transportation experience. the company gave a team of engineers the task of bringing the same qualities that go into the car to other everyday objects. These included the vRS Man-Pram and were highlighted in a new ad launching the third-generation Octavia vRS.

The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel is not an adventure for the light hearted. The trippy visuals and sound effects are rather bizarre and creepy. They look like something out of a nightmare or a psychedelic trip. Maybe the creators of this project did experiment with some illicit drugs to gain inspiration for this project. Moreover, it is more likely than not that some people tried going to this tourist attraction after “preparing” themselves beforehand. This trippy tunnel stretches from Pudong to Puxi in Shanghai, China, and is rated as one of the top five tourist attractions. We recommend visiting this place; just don’t take your kids along for the ride, since it might prove to be too scary for them.

The UK VELUX Lovers of Light competition attracted 15,000 entries from amateur, professional and mobile phone photographers. Entrants were asked to create a landscape image which celebrates and captures daylight. The judges have whittled these down to a shortlist of ten finalists. The winner will be announced at the end of march with the snapper of the best shot winning a trip to Norway – which will be made during the summer period when the country experiences 24 hour daylight.
