The minds of children are a wondrous thing… I think. I don’t quite remember how it was my mind worked as a child, but it’d better have been wondrous because otherwise I have no explanation for how absolutely insane children act. Either way, Pierrette Diaz did a fantastic job of bringing the world of little kids to adults in an interesting series of paintings that depict the world through a child’s eyes.

Vietnamese artist Hoang Tien Quyet produces curved paper forms using a difficult technique known as wet-folding. This adds an element of sculpture to the work, making Hoàng’s origami animals truly remarkable. Too little water and the paper dries before the folding is done; too much water, and the paper will rip.

He aims to take a picture every day for a year – and each one of them should show the Dark Lord of the Sith tackling everyday life. Girls of University of Cincinnati Stage Grecian Games on April 29, 1921. Garbed in costumes of ancient Greece, fair students of the University of Cincinnati, Ohio arranged a set of Grecian Games for the benefit of the University athletic fund. All of the girl students of the University, who take a great interest in outdoor games and athletics, took part in the games. The fund was greatly increased through the staging of the unique attraction and the girls purpose to give a return engagement.
