The number of soldiers on both sides of WWII that were killed or went missing is just staggering. Now, the mystery surrounding one RAF pilot and what happened to him and his plane has been solved after 70 years. RAF flight Sergeant Dennis Copping climbed into his Kittyhawk P-40 aircraft in June 1942 to fly the plane to another airbase for repairs. He was never seen or heard from again.

Iain Blake is an amateur photographer that has gained his popularity on the Internet thanks to his photoset of “Stone Footprints”. By finding the right stones and perfectly arranging them, Iain was able to make a number of very appealing pictures. For some reason, these “footprints” look adorable. It could have something to do with the cartoony appearance that they have. In our opinion, the finest photo out of this whole set is the one with a large footprint and a smaller one on top of it, as if a child has stepped into the footprint left by his or her parent. Fukusawa Takayuki is a Japanese designer, whose life’s goal is to brighten up the people's mood through his creations. His latest project sure does the job. In this project he created a number of figurine-pendants called the “Tanima Diver”. When worn by a woman with full breasts, it looks like the figurine is making a dive into her cleavage. Kim Joon is a Korean artist who specializes in creating images that resemble hollow porcelain human body parts painted in bold patterns from famous ceramic brands including Royal Copenhagen, Herend, and Villeroy & Boch. His latest project is called The Rocker and features a number of pictures of porcelain hands laying on a dish patterned in style of different famous rock bands of the past. The images are so vivid that it makes you think that these hands are actually real and not digitally crafted, though it would be amazing, if someone were to actually make a creation such as this in real life. American artist Robert Wechsler has realized a series of sculptural cubes made from thousands of pennies titled “The Mendicant“. Cubes achieved by notching and joining pennies in perfect orientation to one another. Joined at perpendicular angles, the coins create a lattice structure allowing tunnel like passages of light from certain angles. As one moves around them, the cubes seem to fluctuate from material to ethereal. The number of pennies increases exponentially with the size of the cube. Pictured here are three cubes differentiated with subtitles indicating the exact quantity used.
