Renowned amphibian and reptile photographer Matthijs Kuijpers has released his first book, “Cold Instinct”. Kuijpers says the aim of the work is “for the viewer to abandon the fear and negative thoughts that often surround these animals”. Artist Jesús Prudencio loves cars and movies, if you couldn’t tell by his beautiful series of movie posters, titled Cars and Films, that focuses on an iconic automobile from each movie. From Back to the Future to Pulp Fiction, The Shining to The Italian Job, Prudencio’s colorfully minimal illustrations are a delight for any fan of cars and/or films.

Looking at the photos taken by Aaron Groenom, very easy to get lost in this starry wonderland. A series of photos Dark Places - a collection of works in which the artist from South Dakota contrasts the beauty of the universe to various natural or man-made forms on Earth. Using long exposures, it captures the magical landscape filled with fabulous atmosphere, striking color palettes and far-distant galaxies.

Alexander Nerozya and Ilya Mihaylov make the dream of many “Street Fighter” fans come true and bring the characters of the classic video game into reality. Specifically for this purpose they found a few body-builders to express the epic struggle between Ken and Ryu and other famous characters including beautiful Chun Li. While Nerozya took care of the raw image Mihaylov used his post-production skills to portray finishing touches.

12 vintage cars, 12 beautiful photos, captured and retouched by Stuttgart based photographer Mirko Frank, create stylish “Oldtimer Calendar”. Each car on photos has its own history and this history is also described in a few words in this calendar. Great calendar, don’t you think?

German photographer Martin Klimas, who you may remember from his exploding porcelain figure series, creates breathtaking photos of flowers exploding into a million beautiful pieces. To achieve this effect, he soaks the petals in liquid nitrogen to make them brittle and hits the flower with an air gun.
