Photographers April Maciborka and David Wile teamed up to create their recent series Pucker. In each instance babies were handed their very first lemon and encouraged to take a bite. Just looking at their images will make your lips twitch.

Praia du Forte, Bahia. “This was the lead picture for a National Geographic story on Bahia, because it was both mysterious as well as a “geography” picture showing where the slaves arrived from Nigeria. Beach pictures seem like they should be easy to take, but for me they are actually quite difficult. Too easy to fall into cliche. This brave swimmer certainly has a brrracing workout each weekend she skinny dips in one of the coldest rivers in Europe which regularly plummets to temperaturess of –9C.
