If life wasn’t exciting enough for these beautiful tortoises, they now get to wear a selection of fantastic knitted suits. They made a very slow sashay down the catwalk to showcase the talents of Katie Bradley. She has made cute woolly suits from 25 designs to transform the little animals into a shark, a lobster, a burrito, a burger, bumble bee and a birthday cake.

Andy Kehoe recently returned to New York for his third solo show with Jonathan LeVine Gallery. Entitled Luminous Reverie, this show explores the idea of experiencing a lucid moment while drifting along in a daydream. We enjoyed the works, which continued the new direction that he premiered during a show in Los Angeles last year (covered). Again, Kehoe explores the technique of painting layers upon layers of resin and creating a natural 3-D visual element for the viewers to enjoy. 99 Steps of Progress is an illustrated series of parodies created by the Paris artist collective known as Maentis that put a clever spin on the famed scientific March of Progress drawing. Created by ceramic artist Mary O’Malley, who studied in Philadelphia and now resides in Long Island, New York, the Bottom Feeders series is particularly inspired by childhood memories and her newly familiar surroundings next to the sea. By combining the imagery of sea creatures with the elegance of tea time, O'Malley envisions a whimsical occasion worthy of such fictional characters a Davy Jones and Alice.

RISD furniture student vivian chiu has completed a new project called ‘pixel chair.’ Creating a trompe l’oeil effect, this seating unit is made up of 1/2" x 1/2" cubes,placed individually by hand in a brick-laid formation then laminated together.

A keen pet owner has created a series of quirky poster-style artworks – with his photogenic pet pooch as the star.
