This particular Gingko tree (aka Gingko Biloba) is not just any tree. It was reportedly planted by Tang Dynasty's Emperor Taizong, the emperor portrayed in Fang Bingbing's Empress of China, from over a thousand years ago. Over 160 photographs, costumes, illustrations and magazine covers will be displayed at Los Angeles' Getty Center, until October 21. The display features a century of art from 1911 through to 2011.
