This phenomenon makes them a useful tool in many areas of research, in particular, materials science and “packing” – how things fit together. With a shower of colorful petals suspended form the ceiling, Galeria Melissa unveils the ‘We Are Flower’ installation by SOFTlab. The team at SOFTlab used over 20,000 translucent multicolored petals to create a large immersive hanging surface in the New York flagship.
