The UK VELUX Lovers of Light competition attracted 15,000 entries from amateur, professional and mobile phone photographers. Entrants were asked to create a landscape image which celebrates and captures daylight. The judges have whittled these down to a shortlist of ten finalists. The winner will be announced at the end of march with the snapper of the best shot winning a trip to Norway – which will be made during the summer period when the country experiences 24 hour daylight. Take a walk on the wild side around some of the most down right dangerous places in the world - and all without leaving your desk, courtesy of Google Street View. Since 2007, Google's amazing technology has given people the chance to visit the Eiffel Tower, peer out over San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge or walk along a beach in the Bahamas. But as well as mapping the tourist-friendly hotspots, Google also ventured into places you really wouldn't want to find yourself. Here is a collection of some the most notorious areas captured by the infamous roaming camera cars from around the UK and the world.

Kieron Williamson (born 4 August 2002) is a watercolour artist from Holt, Norfolk in England. His paintings and ability by the age of six have caused considerable interest in the UK media and are notable for his advanced use of perspective and shading. He has been described as a prodigy, and at his second exhibition in 2009, his paintings sold out in 14 minutes, raising a total of £18,200 for 16 paintings. A subsequent exhibition in Holt in July 2010 saw his paintings all sold within 30 minutes, at a total value of £150,000

A female street art collective has set a new Guinness World Record to create the largest spray-painted mural by multiple artists. Over 100 international female street artists came together to create the continuous mural in south London’s Leake Street Tunnel, made famous by Banksy, on March 8, 2014. The record was broken as part of all-female street art event Femme Fierce, the largest of its kind in the UK, which aims to celebrate women street artists across the world. Giffords Circus’s show is touring the UK. Established in 2000, Giffords Circus is a small circus company that delivers circus / theatre fusion to the villages and market towns of the south west. It combines dance, comedy, horses and live music in a two-hour show, located on village greens in a small white tent surrounded by handmade burgundy and gold showman’s wagons. Yoav Kotik, the designer of "Precious metal" jewellery line, is a graduate of the "Bezalel academy of art and design" in Jerusalem. Yoav is a member of the Zik group. He frequently leads Master classes in the field of sculpture and design in recycled materials in academic institutes such as the "Shenkar academy of design" the "Bezalel academy" and the "Wizo academy". His works were presented in galleries across Israel, the UK, the Netherland and Japan.
