To celebrate the 76 years of Superman, the Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Royal Canadian Mint have created four new collector coins featuring Superman from DC Comics. The decision to continue making these limited edition coins was made after the last year’s sale of Superman coins was a complete success. The newest four collector coins were crafted from gold and silver, after which the colors were applied by hand. Any true fan of superman would be delighted to own one of such coins to show off to his friends and buddies.

Production begins on the London 2012 victory medals at the Royal Mint on October 27, 2011 in Pontyclun, Wales. A total of 4700 medals will be made, split between the Olympics and Paralympics. Brooklyn-based artist Orly Genger comes to Manhattan with an installation called Red, Yellow and Blue. The work features the artists usage of intricately hand-knotted nautical rope covered in paint, creating a work that transforms the park’s lawns into colorfully-lined chambers that visitors can enjoy. The work will remain on view daily from May 2 through September 8, 2013 in Madison Square Park.
