Ever wondered what life is like in miniature? An Italian photographer has perfected his own brand of macro photography with stunning pictures of miniscule drops of dew on flowers. Alberto Ghizzi Panizza, 40, has been a photographer for 18 years and specializes in macro images. All of these pictures were taken on the riverbanks of the Po River, in northern Italy, as Panizza pursued his passion for nature. “I'm deeply fond of nature and animals and always look for the beauty in the world around us”, Panizza said. “Dropping” is the work of Italian graphic artist Alberto Seveso. Seveso captured these amazing images or “fluid sculpture” with the use of high-speed photography while mixing ink with oil, as a tribute to the dripping technique of Jackson Pollock. Seveso works from his home town of Portoscuso, Italy creating cutting edge imagery for ad campaigns for companies such as Adobe, Sony, ESPN, Nikon and more. Every year, participants in the Burning Man Festival descend on the playa of Nevada's Black Rock Desert to form a temporary city – a self-reliant community populated by performers, artists, free spirits, and more. Last week, an estimated 68,000 people came to Burning Man 2013 from all over the world to dance, express themselves, and take in the spectacle. Gathered below are some of the sights from the festival, which lasted a week and came to its conclusion yesterday
