The Queen Mary 2 is saluted by the HMB Endeavour, the replica of Captain James Cook's ship, on March 4, 2012 off the coast of Victoria, Australia. The encounter with the Queen Mary 2 and the HMB Endeavour occurred between Cape Duquesne and Cape Nelsonn, just outside Portland, Victoria as Queen Mary 2 sailed from Adelaide to Melbourne, where she will make her maiden visit tomorrow (March 5). While Queen Mary 2 has taken 20 nights to circumnavigate Australia (Fremantle to Fremantle) the Endeavour is taking 13 months on its journey around the country.
