The fruit-themed festival is being held in Los Angeles, California and has been running for two days. The day has become a tradition because watermelons have long been the prized crop of the eastern San Fernando foothills. Not only are guests treated to free food, funfair rides and live entertainment, they can also enter themselves into melon-themed activities.
