The “Lost” Steve Jobs Time Capsule

In 1983, Steve Jobs and his team who were attending a conference in Aspen, decided to bury a capsule that could be opened by future generations or roughly twenty years later. However, they forgot where the capsule was buried and therefore could not follow through with this plan. Recently, National Geographic’s TV Show, “Diggers” inadvertently discovered the capsule.

These Halloween horrors were all carved out of humble pumpkins by Ray Villafane and his team of professional sculptors who meticulously carved the terrifying characters using spoons and scalpels. Each one takes on average two hours to complete – with the horrifying results netting Villafane, plus colleagues Andy Bergholtz and Chris Vierra, numerous TV appearances each Halloween. This year the team has gone global travelling to Germany, Switzerland and Hong Kong to create their masterpieces. Robbie Cooper - Immersion

Robbie Cooper is a British artist working in photography, video and 3D. In 2008 he began his project ‘Immersion’ in which he filmed people’s faces as they watched TV, played video games and using the internet. His images have been of interest to me because they link to how playing video games affects your behaviour out of the game. I think that there is a definite link between gaming and behaviour. I think violent games such as Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty do affect behaviour and can be linked to criminality.

3D Models By Rebeca Puebla

One glance at the 3D models created by Rebeca Puebla is enough to realize that this artist has a soft spot for BDSM. The finely detailed model of a nun with heavily tattooed hands and a ball gag in her mouth or an Asian woman in a latex suit of a horse leave no doubt about it. At first, Rebeca Puebla has started out as a traditional illustrator. However, in later years she became a 3D character artist for films, TV, and video games. Though she has many regular-looking 3D models and illustrations, many of her works are quite controversial featuring 3D models of ladies in latex suits or wearing Nazi uniforms. “Sony Bravia has been a bench mark in quality advertising for years now and I’m very happy to have been chosen by McCann Worldwide to shoot this campaign for them.
We flew to a volcano in Costa Rica where it took the inhabitants of an entire village a full week to pluck all the flower petals…. enough to fill two huge lorries!
With the help of a special effects team, the petals were blown and exploded through our landscapes creating hugely detailed vista which echoes the extreme detail of Sony’s new 4k tv.”
