Russian Climber Kirill Oreshkin

“Kirill Oreshkin of Moscow is crazy. Without the aid of equipment or safety gear, Oreshkin climbs buildings, statues, and whatever he can get his hands on to dizzying heights and then takes the most gorgeous selfies imaginable”. (Photo by Kirill Oreshkin)

In this handout image provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), model runs from the Center for Tsunami Research at the NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory show the expected wave heights of the tsunami as it travels across the Pacific basin March 11, 2011. The largest wave heights are expected near the earthquake epicenter, off Japan. The wave will decrease in height as it travels across the deep Pacific but grow taller as it nears coastal areas. In general, as the energy of the wave decreases with distance, the near shore heights will also decrease (e.g., coastal Hawaii will not expect heights of that encountered in coastal Japan). Karl Lagerfeld says: “It’s not all about emotions. It’s like Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, the famous opera singer, said, “If people imagined I had all the emotions I can express on stage I wouldn’t sing”. In the moment, you have to stay cool. Emotions come after and I’m not so much into emotions, I’m more into work”. Here: Balmain, Spring/Summer 2011. (Photo by Matt Lever)

“These are the mind-blowing artworks of one professor who has dedicated his professional life to studying and generating a series of dizzying optical illusions. Professor Akiyoshi Kitaoka, from Ritsumseikan University, in Kyoto, Japan, has spent more than a decade creating his collecting of stomach-churning works. His designs have been used by the likes of Lady Gaga, who ran the Kitaokas work, entitled Gangaze, as the CD cover for her album Art Pop, in 2013”. – Caters News.
