The cast of The Expendables, L-R: actors Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Terry Crews attended the ringing of the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street in NYC today. There is something so unsexy (not to mention suspect) about a male who constantly takes off his shirt to flex his muscles while in the company of other alpha males.

One day photographer Jimmy Hickey decided to do a photo project capturing “money problems personified”, so he withdraw everything from his bank account in one dollar bills and created a money suit. The resulting project is titled “What Have We Done?”.

Artist Kate Jenkins makes elaborate crocheted food art in her studio in Brighton. Much of her art depicts the local fare – fish and chips, bangers and mash, and so on – but a recent series, “Kate’s Diner”, focused on classic American food. We previously posted about Jenkins’ crocheted anatomical hearts.

Katjinga, a Rhodesian ridgeback dog who lives on a 20-acre farm in Germany, adopted an abandoned pot-bellied piglet in August 2009. The tiny black piglet, named Paulinchen, had been so small at birth that her mother likely overlooked it.
