Axel, a research prototype rover for exploring the Moon, Mars and other planets, is remotely driven over rocks as engineers from Jet Propulsion (JPL) and grad students from Caltech (California Institute of Technology) demonstrate its mobile over the steep and rocky grounds of the JPL Mars Yard on January 14, 2009 in Pasadena, California. When you think of the People's Liberation Army, you probably don't think of line dancing. But the Chinese military's latest online recruiting video makes a soldier's life look more fun than the macarena. The brief spot, posted last week on the website of the Ministry of National Defense and going viral, features tanks and fighter jets, as well as soldiers dancing in rows to a quirky hit tune by the Chopsticks Brothers called “Little Apple”. Its lyrics include, “You are my little dear little apple/I can never stop loving you”.

Spanish artist Romulo Celdran (b. 1973) brings exquisite technical skill, a fastidious eye, and a scientific attention to detail to both his mixed-media drawings on board and his larger-than-life sculptures of quotidian objects.

Luca Meneghel is an italian photographer specialized in fashion and food photography with a background in design. He was born in Belluno the 19th. february 1989 and now he’s based in Bolzano. “Into the Mirror is a series of images that intersect reality and artistry through the fusion of lens captures and hand drawing”.

This surreal metal sculpture is created by a famous sculptor, Neil Dawson in New Zealand. The masterpiece is made from steel and painted like if it’s a drawing from a cartoon. The artwork can be visited at Gibbs Farm, that is host to many other art sculptures as well.
