At the Krasnopresnenskaya station, the benches come from the Cathedral of Christ-Sauveur, which was built from 1839 to 1883 in memory of the victory of Russia against the army of Napoleon I. The seven-year-old moggy has even been nicknamed Heisenpurrg - a reference to the Breaking Bad character Heisenberg who also sports a goatee. Owner Charlene Dahilig has owned Gary since he was three-weeks-old and he wandered into her backyard in Sacramento, California.

Kazakh nomads have been grazing their livestock in Mongolia for hundreds of years. Fascinated by the bond between hunter and eagle, photographer Palani Mohan has spent the last few years documenting the burkitshi. Mohan's photos of the landscape, isolation of the hunt, and most of all the trusting relationship between man and bird, convey the importance that the eagle plays in their lives.
