“The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya is a waterfall located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. A famous feature is a naturally formed pool known as the Devil's Pool, near the edge of the falls, accessed via Livingstone Island in Zambia. When the river flow is at a certain level, usually during the months of September to December, a rock barrier forms a pool with little current; some people swim in the pool. The street artist known only as Slinkachu has been abandoning little people on the streets of London since 2006. His first project, “Little People in the City”, saw minature men, women and children living their lives on the streets of London and was immortalised in the 2008 book entitled “Little People in the City”. Since then, Slinkachu has done a number of other projects, notably “Whatever Happened to the Men of Tomorrow” which documented the decline of a tiny, middleaged and balding super-hero on the streets of London and “Inner City Snail – a slow moving street art project” which saw Slinkachu “customising” a number of London snails which then presumably went about their business none the wiser.

About 15 artificially-fed Siberian tigers from Harbin Siberian Tiger Park are being trained to develop their ability to live in the wild. The wild Siberian tiger is listed as one of the most endangered species in the world, with its existing number estimated at around 400 worldwide, mainly in the northeastern part of China and the Far East of Russia.
