Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee has created a series (Homo Animatus) of works featuring skeletal representations of familiar cartoon characters. He uses resin, aluminum sticks, stainless steel wires, springs, and oil paint. If you look closely, you will see the bones of our favorite childhood friends like Canis Latrans Animatus (Wile E. Coyote), Geococcyx Animatus (Roadrunner), Lepus Animatus (Bugs Bunny), Felis Catus Animatus (Tom), Mus Animatus (Jerry), Anas Animatus (Donald Duck) and his three nephews, Animatus H, D and L ( Huey, Dewey and Louie)

Takehiko Yagi is a rising star in Japanese photography, and his vibrant pictures of the Hindu spring festival of Holi won the Grand Prize at the fourth annual Nikkei National Geographic Photo Prize. “Photographer Mario Testino shot Jennifer Lopez wearing a variety of sports and boxing gear for the cover story of V Magazine’s new “Sports Issue” (no. 76 Spring 2012). The piece, entitled “Tha Lady Is A Champ” was styled by Carine Roitfeld, and sees J. Lo rocking a jock strap, boxing gloves, various leather jackets, robes and often not much else.
