Each day as we look in the mirror, we think that we know ourselves. We are used to the image that we see before us, but the mirror can show us much more than we ever hoped to see. Sometimes it only shows basic emotions, while at other times it can highlight the deepest crevices of our soul. If you wish, in the reflection of the mirror you can see your deepest thoughts, masks that you wear every day, your desires, and of course the people that you think about. But are you brave enough to look deep within your soul? Will you dive headlong or shy away from your true image? There is something frightening and at the same time appealing in the living sculptures of 27-year-old British artist Emma Fay. Body art in conjunction with the flexibility of acrobats and fantasy of the artist using water-based paints, a brush and sponge, is transformed into a beautiful work of art. It is not immediately possible to make out the human body in the picture. First you look at the landscape and suddenly begin to distinguish someone’s arm, or neck. Or you look into the eyes of an amazing bull, and it turns out that it is perfectly folded back. Lovely people, temples are and wonderful people-insects are.

Oh, those daredevils! They’re always willing to pull off another incredible stunt to gain fame and glory. Sometimes it’s something incredibly stupid, but sometimes it is simply incredible. The stunt that you can see on this video is of the latter kind. Who would have thought of attaching a jet engine to a bicycle? And who would have dared riding one? Circuit Paul Ricard, that’s who. On November 7 2014 he reached a whooping speed of 333 hm/h (207 mph) on his bicycle. Now that is a tale to tell your grandchildren… if you ever live long enough to see them with a lifestyle such as this.

Terence Chang's (aka exxonvaldez) long exposure photographs, capturing only streaks of light as airplanes arrive and depart from the San Francisco airport, certainly are stunning. There's just something so magical about seeing the various patterns created in the sky, even over a relatively short amount of time.
