Liu Yi, Chinese painter, was born in Shanghai in 1958. He was a Fine Arts graduate from the Hua Dong University for Education. He did his postgraduate study of watercolor painting at the China College of Fine Arts. He lectures at university for painting and design. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and is also a member of the Watercolor Painting Artists Association. He is the retired Deputy President of the Shanghai Watercolor Painting Society, and is currently the Deputy Principal of the Shanghai Arts and Technical College. He is a very accomplished watercolor painter in China.

Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal is an international mosaiculture competition held in Montréal, Canada. According to their website, mosaiculture “is a refined horticultural art that involves creating and mounting living artworks made primarily from plants with colourful foliage (generally annuals, and occasionally perennials).” The 2013 competition and exhibition opened June 22 and runs through September 29 at the Montréal Botanical Garden and features some 22,000 plant species and cultivars distributed throughout 10 exhibition greenhouses and 30 themed gardens.

Kieron Williamson (born 4 August 2002) is a watercolour artist from Holt, Norfolk in England. His paintings and ability by the age of six have caused considerable interest in the UK media and are notable for his advanced use of perspective and shading. He has been described as a prodigy, and at his second exhibition in 2009, his paintings sold out in 14 minutes, raising a total of £18,200 for 16 paintings. A subsequent exhibition in Holt in July 2010 saw his paintings all sold within 30 minutes, at a total value of £150,000

Captured by South African photographer Dillon Marsh, these fantastic photographs depict the many designs employed by sociable weavers to build sturdy nests that are safe from intruders such as cobras and tree snakes. They are also nice cool during the day, and stay warm during cold desert nights. A University of Stellenbosch graduate, Marsh is currently interested in landscape photographer who seeks out anomalies that can be arranged in a photographic series. Assimilation depicts scores of intricate weaver’s nests atop utility poles in Southern Africa. Colonies of sociable weavers have been known to stay attached to one particular nest for up to 100 years, according to The San Diego Zoo.

Russian political artist Nadezhda Khuzina was born December 12, 1982 in the city of Serpukhov, Russia. In 2001 she graduated from Moscow Region Pedagogical College, in 2008 – St. Petersburg Art and Industry Academy. Now Nadezhda Khuzina is living in San Diego, CA. Nadezhda Khuzina “Nadia” has devoted her last paintings to Winter Olympics in Sochi, featuring Russian president Putin in different roles. Vladimir Putin is able to perform any sport – skater and skier, hockey player and snowboarder, such James Bond of Olympics, able to cope with any task. The creative artist is inspired by the image of Russian president, a charismatic man Vladimir Putin

Whenever we don’t have enough magic in our real life, we try to create it using our imagination. The cute characters created by Belgian illustrator Marie Breuer allow us to see the mystical world that resides within her mind. It is dark and adorable, enchanting and solemn. The thing that separates her drawings from the rest is the vivid colors and the bizarre huge, anime-like heads of her characters. The pictures that we liked the most were the ones where her characters wear different living animals like cloaks, with the mood of the characters being closely linked to the animal that they are wearing. The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel is not an adventure for the light hearted. The trippy visuals and sound effects are rather bizarre and creepy. They look like something out of a nightmare or a psychedelic trip. Maybe the creators of this project did experiment with some illicit drugs to gain inspiration for this project. Moreover, it is more likely than not that some people tried going to this tourist attraction after “preparing” themselves beforehand. This trippy tunnel stretches from Pudong to Puxi in Shanghai, China, and is rated as one of the top five tourist attractions. We recommend visiting this place; just don’t take your kids along for the ride, since it might prove to be too scary for them.
