These spectacular photographs give a stunning birds-eye of view of the decks from some of the world's biggest cruise liners. New York based Photographer Jeffrey Milstein spent months hovering over the oceans using high-resolution camera equipment to capture views from a helicopter.

Ben Thouard, 29, regularly dives into the crystal clear waters of Teahupoo, Tahiti's most famous surf break, to snap the empty waves. He stands in the water scouting out particular shapes and the right swell direction and shoots most of his pictures during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset. The Census of Marine Life was a global network of researchers in more than 80 nations engaged in a 10-year scientific initiative to assess and explain the diversity, distribution, and abundance of life in the oceans. The world's first comprehensive Census of Marine Life — past, present, and future — was released in 2010 in London.
