Lion Country Safari celebrated the annual Christmas with the Chimps on Thursday, December 20, 2012 beginning at 10:30am. For over 20 years, Santa Claus has visited man's closest relative at Lion Country Safari's Chimp Islands, bearing wrapped gifts for the chimps. “It is a special celebration about the chimpanzees and the people that work with them every day”, said Terry Wolf, Wildlife Director. “It is a lot of fun.
