A master Myouchin Munemichi (L), 72, and his son Myouchin Keizo, 38, as they produce Hbashi iron bells made of iron at Myochin Honpo shop on April 25, 2014 in Himeji, Japan. Myochin family's iron business, started in the Heian period (794-1185) of Japan as an armor and helmet maker, shifted as the needs of people changed in the course of history. In Meiji period (1868-1912), the business shifted from making armors to making 'Hibashi' or iron chopsticks to handle charcoal, and Myochin Munemich, current master of Myochin family, uses his family technique to create wind-bells made of a couple sets of iron chopsticks. The Myochin wind-bells are known to be used by Sony for testing their microphone products. (Photo by Buddhika Weerasinghe/Getty Images)
