Prada Marfa is a permanently installed sculpture by artists Elmgreen and Dragset, situated 1.4 miles (2.3 km) northwest of Valentine, Texas, just off U.S. Highway 90 (US 90), and about 26 miles (42 km) northwest of the city of Marfa. The installation was inaugurated on October 1, 2005. The artists called the work a "pop architectural land art project."

Nithin Rao Kumblekar, a freelance illustrator and art director based in Bangalore, India, created these illustrations for an ad campaign by Ogilvy & Mather for ‘in store’ branding for Allen Solly clothing. The idea of the project was to blend each illustration in with a model(s) / photograph to express the theme “My world, My way“.

How to make the world a brighter using pen? You just have to complement conventional photographs persons toon, and immediately transformed the world. Aleks Nocny uses simple tools: pens, scraps of paper and your imagination. And the most simple pictures of people on the streets are transformed into a work of art.

Over 160 photographs, costumes, illustrations and magazine covers will be displayed at Los Angeles' Getty Center, until October 21. The display features a century of art from 1911 through to 2011. Artist Gaelle Villedary has installed a grass “carpet” across the village of Jaujac in France to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Arts and Nature Trail program. The green trail is made of 168 rolls of grass and runs for 1,377 feet (420 metres) to connect the village seamlessly to its surrounding natural landscape.

Many people have seen feathers as decorative items before. Today, ostrich, peacock and bird of paradise feathers can be seen in haute couture and in the costumes of indigenous peoples. They can be colorful and spectacular in their own right, but how much more stunning might they be when used as canvases for artists, eager to demonstrate their talent for the unusual? Alaskan-born and -bred artist Julie Thompson is an astounding exponent of this incredible art form.
