“The 53rd Annual TV WEEK Logie Awards is an upcoming event to be held on Sunday 1 May 2011 at the Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne, and will once again be televised on the Nine Network. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Shane Bourne, marking the first time he has hosted the event. American singer-songwriter Katy Perry will open the Logie Awards performing her hit single “Firework”. Maroon 5 and Jessie J will also perform. Hu Shaoming is a fantastic artist from China, who has learnt Fine Arts at Guangzhou Academy. The most complex sculpture of all his works is a mechanical seahorse, constructed from many tiny details. The whole composition consists of two complete opposites, including the top part of the seahorse`s head that looks like a golden town, and the bottom which resembles an amazing blue creature. An important problem is reflected in such an idea; it shows how a man forces the nature into submission. The contrast in the opposition of the human buildings and conquered Mother Nature suggests the thought of keeping our natural environment safe.

These stunning light art pictures of skateboarding skeletons were created by Darren Pearson from Los Angeles. He works as a full time illustrator by day and by night he explores the varying landscapes of California in search of the perfect scene for his light-sculptures.
