Nicholas Mee & Co, an Aston Martin Heritage Dealer in West London, have just finished putting the final touches to a fully functional kid-sized car inspired by the legendary Aston Martin DB models of the 1960s. But this is no rickety pedal car. It has a steel chassis, composite bodywork, leather seats, a wood rimmed steering wheel and Brembo disc brakes.

Japanese artist Hikaru Cho is already well-known for her bizarre and realistic body paintings, but now the Tokyo-based artist has applied her talent to everyday food items as well. In her playful “It’s Not What It Seems” series, she turns common foods into other kinds of food using only acrylic paint and her extraordinary talent.

Tumblr artist VSE OK has created a bizarre and often hilarious collection of photos that capture action figures in strange scenarios. VSE OK displays photos of everything from Bruce Lee using his martial arts skills to make breakfast to ruthless tricks pulled by the Joker (both Heath and Jack).

The Bricksy series has just been released on the artist’s website with accompanying reference thumbnails of the original Banksy work. As the site says, “Bricksy is an edgy, underground LEGO street artist. He is rumored to have inspired Banksy’s iconic works, or is that the other way around?” Classic images such as Kissing Coppers, Naked Man and Balloon Girl all get a 3D reimagining in LEGO form. A famous Chinese wood carver, Zheng Chunhui has won a Guinness World Record after developing the longest wooden carving of the world. Zheng spent 4 years developing the artwork that is about forty feet long and made sculpture from a single tree trunk. The artwork is basically a copy of the popular Chinese painting named Along the River during the Qingming Festival that was made around one thousand years ago.
