I'm an independent Art Director and Illustrator. I was born in Barcelona, risen in Murcia and currently I live on the spanish capital, Madrid. I have got more than a decade of expertise on my back, illustrating and designing for music bands and publishing houses.

“Two Brothers”. We found about 20 lions eating a buffalo. When the male leaved the group we anticipated him to take photos. It is 8AM, light is perfect and the position too. The lion stops and looks down from the hill, another lion is coming up, it stiffens, I think that will be a fight, i'm tense, the camera is OK, the shots previously made perfect. The two meet, looking directly into their eyes, they sniff, rub against their heads, the tension drops, they start walking with the same step as when they were puppies, they are two brothers. We received intriguing letter: “Hello! My name is Glenda Lissette, I am an 18 year old photographer from Chicago, IL. I produce surreal and conceptual photographs. I am currently working on a project where I take a photo a day for an entire year”. Well, let's look!

Zed Nelson has photographed the same family, once a year on the same day, for 20 years. I take hundreds of photo’s of my extended family all year round, some just languish on my computer screen unseen by anyone, some get printed, some framed. What is really interesting about this project is not only the obvious time scale but his “ analytical approach“. The same plain background is used for each session and he chooses only 1 frame to represent that years image. My many photographs are a mishmash of family events, his create a family history unfolding . Perhaps less really is more.
