For about 12 months, people and animals became accustomed to living with the daily fall of ash, which also caused problems in the air traffic in South America. Bristol Museum & Art Gallery representatives on Monday, June 23, 2025 hold an empty frame against Avon Gorge in Bristol, which was painted by JMW Turner in The Rising Squall, Hot Wells, from St Vincent's Rock, Bristol (1792).
